Introduction
This was originally going to be an epic article on the finer points of tanking. However, as I did more and more research on the topic, I discovered much to my chagrin that the work had already been done, by more collaborators, and with more rigor than I was capable of mustering, in many cases. Therefore, this page has been repurposed for aggregation and commentary.
