Thoughts

A place to list my thoughts on things, I believe mortals call these journals for some reason.

Naxxramas and Scourge

I hate Scourge. When Scourge that were once killed and have been reanimated again to come annoy us, I hate them even more. Though I must admit, it is kind of ironic that the Lich King is bringing Scourge from Lordaeron back up to Northrend, I wonder if that is a sign he is not as confident in beating the mortals of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms as he thought he was when he attacked them. Either way, it seems the Eastern Plaguelands were only a setback. Wow, did I really just write that, I am clearly spending to much time with mortals, I am picking up their archaic sense of humor. Anyway, the Scourge are attacking the bases of the Alliance and Horde in the Dragonblight. Of all the places to choose, they chose Dragonblight. Silly when that puts them but a stones throw away from us. If we were not so busy dealing with the Blue Dragonflight we would go over there in force, but I digress. A select group of us have been selected to assist the mortals with dealing with these Scourge. I am working with a group of adventures called Game Theory, apparently their name was picked cause it has something to do with this so called 'mathematics' thing that mortals do. It sounds like a Gnome invention to me...I hate Gnomes.

The Nexus War

So, we are under attack my the Blue Flight. The mortals of that floating city Dalaran, who call themselves 'Kirin Tor', are putting up a good fight against them, as are we, but his approach of sending waves of dragons in, in an almost suicidal fashion is making things difficult. I look at his attack styles and I wonder if the reports that he has regained his sanity are correct, I mean, only a complete fool or someone completely insane would attack the temple like he is, and Malygos is definitely no fool. I doubt we will lose this, we outnumber his flight ten to one, and we actually have a sane plan. However some of his drakes are extremely powerful and this has me worried, for if these drakes are being empowered by only a fraction of the power Malygos is channeling from the ley lines, what could Malygos empower himself with if he finishes what he is doing in Coldara. Although realistically, he will probably destroy most of Azeroth long before he gets enough power to do whatever it is he is trying to do. Meh, Blue Dragons...I will never understand them.

Twilight Dragonflight

The presence of Sartharion and the so called "Twilight" Dragonflight inside the Chamber of Aspects has some rather disturbing implications. What little is known is that Lady Sinestra, what Neltharion's last consort Sintharia is calling herself now, created them by experimentation on the Black Flight. She was killed, but she manged to finalize whatever she needed to, to finish the project. However it was believed that after the death of Dargonax that all was destroyed, though the presence of them in the Chamber indicates someone is still working on this. What is also worrying is the reports from the heroes who defeated Sartahrion, the leader of them, says they refer to a father figure who leads them, many simply believe this to be some other twilight dragon, but my mother and I believe otherwise. Alexstrasza has long feared that Neltharion may not be as dead and gone as many believe. No good will come of this though, I am certain of that much at least.

Ulduar

Apparently the strange little mortal know as Brann Bronzebeard that likes to go dig holes in the ground has recently returned to Dalaran with news of a dangerous development in the titans abandoned city of Ulduar. From my conversation with him it seems that Ulduar was being used to contain and imprison an Old God...I hate Old Gods. Apparently said old god has apparently broken out, perhaps had the titans not gone away and just left the place to sit their he might not have broken out like this, then again, who am I to judge them. Anyway, Brann says if we do not act bad things will happen, theirs a shocker. Naturally though, rather then work together to get it done, the Horde and Alliance are to busy ranting and posturing to each other, and the return of the Humans king has not helped things. Oh well, we have more pressing concerns with dealing with the Blue Flight and the Scourge who are still busy scuttling around doing things, I guess we have to trust the mortals to deal with this. I am definitely not inspired with confidence.

Icecrown, Tournaments and Mortal Fools

So, that group that want to see the Scourge gone, they call themselves Argent, are trying to recruit more people for an attack on the Citadel where the Lich King has holed himself up in. How you ask, by building a big ring in the middle of Icecrown, then making everyone attack each other. I always thought mortals lacked the higher brain power of we dragons, but this really takes the cake. Lets not kill Scourge, lets beat each other into unconsciousness, complete genius at work their. At least they are including some Scourge in this little Tournament of theirs. Oh well, what can one expect from such small creatures I guess.

Icecrown Citadel

So, the hero types that did not get killed while doing their stupid tournament have finally started their attack on the Scourges power base, the Citadel as the Lich King calls it. Yes, the Icecrown Citadel, a massive large metallic fortress made of saronite, the rock created by Yogg'saron. Because surely surrounding yourself by the creation of an Old God can't be a bad thing right? I guess when your dead what do you really have to lose. Once again I am working with the mortal group Game Theory. Personally I will enjoy showing some Scourge my version of central heating, setting them on fire, I guarantee it works every time. The Lich King was sure thorough in his planing however, between the bone constructs, the abominations and the San'layn he defiantly kept his most powerful creatures to guard him. The sad event at the Wrath Gates end result was revealed too, Saurfang as a Death Knight, and Bolvar Fordragon alive, but being tortured by the Lich King. I wish I had been able to tell the mortals I was with ahead of time, but they had to find out their way, or we risked affecting their attack with emotional considerations. Of most pressing concern to me is the Frostbrood, the Frost Wyrms that the Lich King raised from the bones of Blue Dragons, including Sindragosa...I knew her back in the day. For the Lich King to think he has the right to control dragons, especially one such as Sindragosa, shows his arrogance. I will be glad to show him what we dragons think of his work when I crush his dead skull between my claws.

Twilight Dragonflight and Looming Darkness

Things have been quiet with the Twilight Dragonflight in recent months, too quiet. We have been distracted with dealing with the Scourge and the remaining Blue Dragons that have not accepted Kalecgos as their leader. Recently I have been feeling an impending dread that the Twilight Dragonflight is planing something, though I know not what or why. There are times where I wish I possessed the Bronze Flights ability to predict future events. Their is little that can be done now though and we must wait and see what happens. I only hope whatever they do, we can react in time to stop their plan.

Dragonshrine Desecration ((Sigh, come on patch 3.3.5, I want to update this already.:( ))

((Updated again, yey. That is a lot faster then last time. So my next step is to try and add in something on Malygos specifically separate from the Blue Dragonflight bit, and dealing with Sartharion as well. Lets see how long it takes this time.))
