Priest Macros
From Game Theory
Shadowy Macros
Lather
/castsequence reset=15 Mind Blast, Vampiric Touch, Vampiric Embrace, Shadow Word: Pain, Mind Flay /stopmacro [nocombat]
Rinse (or Overdrive)
/castsequence reset=8 Mind Blast, Mind Flay, Mind Flay, Mind Flay /stopmacro [nocombat]
Repeat (or Drive)
What, you want a macro for Mind Flay?
Spin Dry (or Hyperdrive)
/castsequence reset=12 Shadow Word: Death, Mind Blast, Mind Flay, Mind Flay, Mind Flay /stopmacro [nocombat]
In a group situation, you may wish to define a different Lather to avoid unnecessary attention:
/castsequence reset=10 Vampiric Touch, Vampiric Embrace, Shadow Word: Pain /stopmacro [nocombat]
A trinketed burst-damage macro might look something like:
/use [modifier:alt] 13 /use [modifier:alt] 14 /castsequence Mind Blast, Shadow Word: Death /stopmacro [nocombat]
The [modifier:alt] bit is so you don't constantly hear the trinket-not-ready sound when it's on cooldown. Just have your trinkets (gear slots 13 and 14) in some other bar so you can observe them, and Alt-macro when appropriate. A similar technique works for healing spells.
Are you addicted to Mind Control? This may buy you a little time when your disposable minion is the last one left in the pull:
/cancelaura [channeling:Mind Control] Mind Control /cast Fade
As a bonus, it can be your default Fade button as well.
Holy Macros
The following should be mostly self-explanatory.
/stopmacro [nodead]
/run local s=SendChatMessage; t=UnitName("target"); if (t=="Foker") then s("Foker Resurrection Snark For Rent"); else s("Resurrecting "..t); end
/cast Resurrection
Disciplined Macros
Inspired by the robots in the Black Temple. If you're a Shadow Priest, you may be expected to do this from time to time.
/stopcasting /cast [target=targettarget] Power Word: Shield
